New in 2011!

Baton Twirling Alliance presents the

Mid-America Baton Twirling Tournament of Champions!

Going to AYOP or other National Championships? Plan a stop on your way to compete at the Mid-America Baton Twirling Tournament of Champions -dates TBA. Practice gyms, a chance to get your routines on the floor before Nationals, top National judges! Practice gyms may also be available on day previous to competition. More information, Brochure/Team entry forms and online registration link can be found on the BT Alliance page of this website!

Since 2008- Online Registration!

It's easy. You can pay with your credit card or electronic check; there is no chance of your entry being delayed or lost in the mail; and you get immediate confirmation (both at check-out and via a confirmation email)!

It's safe. Active.com is a TOTALLY SECURE SITE. It is used by many Recreation Departments, Professional Teams, Little Leagues, etc., throughout the country. The information required on the entry form is the same as one might find in the phonebook- Name, Phone and Address- nothing like SS# or maiden name, etc. - so there should be no risk of identity theft tied to your credit card or bank card. ** If you are still nervous about making a payment online, you can also go to a CVS or other retail establishment that sells Cash Cards and get one of those to use. These are cards that work like Visa and/or Master Card but have no personal information attached to them.

It's fast and efficient. Internet access is available to everyone. If you don't have a computer, you can always find one at the local library, through work or through a friend, relative or coach. At registration, the events are entered directly into the database; which should make for a much better organized contest, as this eliminates possible mistakes from manual registration.

WOW! ON-LINE REGISTRATION FOR INDIVIDUALS

What's the process?

When available, download contest brochure from this site. This will have all the general information that you require such as directions, schedule and more. Also in this document you will find the mail-in entry form for Teams which will not be offered on-line.

Click on the link below- "Register for our next competition". You will need to register all siblings together, in one transaction. Have your credit card handy.

Can you give me a little more detail on the actual registration process?

It's pretty simple really- click on the circles next to the items you want to select. *You may find that only one competition is listed, along with the Camp. If that is the case, look for the next competition closer to the deadline for the current competition registration.

The next screen after selecting whichever competition currently taking registrations has the events, grouped by levels. 3 Baton, Trio and rating events other than for solo or strut are under "Other Twirl Events" and Modeling Events are listed last.

Duets and Trios are now entered by all partners individually (price has been adjusted accordingly) and there is a spot on the next "screen" where you will need to fill in your partner's last name(s) and age(s). On that same screen there is also question which asks you whether you are on a team or not; this is so we can schedule the Show events properly, but has to be answered either way.

On the next "screen" is a summary of what you have entered. Please check that carefully. If there is anything you need to change (level is incorrect, something is missing or something needs to be removed, etc) you can click on the "edit options" link above the items and make the changes. After you make any changes and hit "continue" it will take you back to that summary screen and you continue from there.

The summary screen also offers the option to register another participant (click on that to register participants in the same family- which will add a "sibling discount" to cancel out the second gym fee), "Register (participant name) for another program"- click on that to register for Camp or any other competition which may have been listed on the initial selection screen at the same time, "Edit info for (participant name)"- to edit address, age, etc; and "Remove Program"- to remove an incorrectly selected competition or the Camp if you decide not to register for both at the same time. All of these options are available ONLY from that screen. Once you hit "continue" from that screen, you are "locked in" so to speak.

The next screen is where you set up your online account (explained on the screen- among other things, it will make future registrations faster for you!), fill in the billing info and "accept" the waiver. When you "continue" from that screen you will get a final summary screen (which you should print out for your records). You should also be sent an email confirmation after you have completed the registration.

OK- I think that should cover most everything! Please let us know ASAP if you have any problems with this, or any other questions/concerns.
